Computers and
the Internet at our school
- all students and staff use our network under the
conditions of our Internet Code of Behaviour (pictured)
- each classroom has a pod of desktop computers and an
interactive whiteboard including wireless keyboard.
- our teachers are equipped with MacBook Pro laptop
computers, which they use to access our OneSchool administration application.
- our Computer Lab features 30 Mac computers, colour
laser printer and interactive whiteboard
- our MultiMedia Centre is equipped with interactive
whiteboard, satellite TV reception, desktop computers and printer
- our Library borrowing system is fully digital, and
the collection can be searched from anywhere in the school
- students can access a range of other technologies
depending on their current classroom work, including digital microscopes, Easispeak
microphones, iPads, iPods, digital cameras and iPevo document cameras.
- our school has an
active FaceBook page for parents and the community, and strongly encourages
parents to use the Qschools and Qparents apps, which integrate with our school
information systems.
