Our School In The Community

- our staff and students participate in the local ANZAC and Remembrance Day marches and ceremonies, in addition to holding our own ceremonies at school.

- our school participates annually in Schools Clean Up Day, a national initiative that is part of Clean Up Australia Day

- at the end of each year, classes provide grocery hampers which are donated to the Lions Christmas Appeal, helping those less fortunate in the area at Christmas time.

- our students support Seyd, a World Vision Adopted child in Africa, and raise funds through a free dress day to give him access to education and basic supplies.

- our staff enter a team in the annual Relay For Life, an event where participants raise funds to support cancer awareness,  treatment and research.

- students organise free dress days to support a range of other local and global charities and causes, including Autism Awareness Day, CareFlight Rescue Service and Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

- our P and C supports a range of  community events and activities such as the Hell Of The West Triathlon and the Plucked Duck B and S Ball.
