Camps
At Goondiwindi State School we offer students from Years Four to Six are offered the opportunity to attend an annual camp -
Year Four Camp
3 days / 2 nights at Koojarewon Youth Camp, Highfields
Activities include:
Big group games, scavenger hunt, team challenge, slingshot smash, jungle fever, the great escape, nature walk, bush dance and nightime spotlighting
Year Five Camp
4 days / 3 nights at Tallebudgera
Beach School, Gold Coast
Activities include:
Surfing, toboganning, beach
safety, beach games, archery and one day at SeaWorld
Year Six Camp
5 days / 4 nights at Brisbane
Day trip to Tangalooma where students will feed Dolphins, participate in a 'Desert Safari' and go Tobogganing , Laser Tag, day trip to St Helena Island, Qld Art Gallery, GOMA (Gallery of Modern Arts)
Excursions
We offer a variety of excursions for all students from Prep to Year 6. Excursions can vary each year as they are curriculum based. Our excursions can include to visits to local places such as Australia Post, Customs House, the town parks, local farms and cotton tours through to Creative Genrations in Brisbane and The Darling Downs Zoo.
Incursions
We also offer incursions that all students from Prep to Year 6 attend. We host several incursions each year that include Music A Viva, Topology, The Queensland Ballet, Questacon Science Circus, The Root Cause, Street Science and many more.
